Our most recent Performance Platform Evenings saw our instrumental students demonstrating their developing musical skills and musicianship to a highly appreciative audience
May's performance platform evenings saw about a third of our instrumental students demonstrating their developing musical skills and musicianship to a highly appreciative audience. Students who have saxophone, flute, singing, piano, guitar, bass and drum kit lessons were all represented and who had all chosen their favourite piece to perform in the MFL atrium.
Music department subject and instrumental staff were really pleased with the enthusiasm, courage shown by all who performed, where students also introduced their solo or duet pieces to the receptive audience of parents, family and friends.
"Thank you so much for the Platform Performance Evening last night, we all thoroughly enjoyed it again." - Mrs Gregory
"It was amazing because of all the singers and instrumentalists" - Catarina Ponsford (Year 8 student)
"The evening was fun and relaxed" - Omar Shaikh (Year 8)
