Anti-Bullying and Conflict Resolution

Bullying is a worry for every parent and at Severn Vale School; we do our utmost to ensure that our students feel safe when they are in our care. We work hard every day to ensure that Severn Vale is a “Telling School” as it is important that bullying, in any form, is reported to a member of staff to ensure we can deal with it effectively. We cannot deal with that which is unknown to us.

Bullying is contrary to the values held at Severn Vale, particularly integrity and courtesy, and will not be tolerated in any form. We have an extensive programme of measures in place to both prevent and deal with bullying. Details of these measures can be found in our Anti-Bullying and Conflict Resolution Policy.

If you are concerned that your child is being bullied or is experiencing conflict with other students, please contact your child’s tutor in the first instance. They will work with the relevant Head of Year to help support your child.

We endeavour to deal with all bullying and conflict issues as swiftly as possible.
