Key Stage Leader for KS3 and KS4 (2 positions)
We are seeking to appoint two well-qualified, talented and inspiring teachers with a passion for pastoral leadership to these newly created roles in the school. The successful candidates will provide the pastoral leadership of either Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4. They will also join the school’s extended leadership team and play a pivotal role in helping the school in the next stage of its development.
The Key Stage Leaders for KS3 and KS4 will take a lead role in the delivery of our values and in shaping the school’s culture and will play a major role as a member of the extended leadership team in the further development of the school. Key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic leadership of Key Stage 3 / 4 including improvement planning / self-evaluation
- Supporting and challenging students to ensure that the school’s expectations regarding behaviour, attendance, uniform and learning are clearly established and met
- Leading a team of non-teaching year team leaders
- Taking a lead with parental engagement
The posts will include working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to enhance the learning, behaviour, progress and well-being of our students. There will be a requirement to work closely with parents.
