On Thursday, 30 Year 7 students participated in an exciting and inspiring poetry slam workshop led by poet 'Spoz'. The theme of this year's session was 'play', which students interpreted in a variety of imaginative ways.
This term, students from Year 10 headed down to London for the day to visit Westminster and have a tour of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
On Friday the 12th December, around 150 Santas took part in the annual fun and festive 2k event. Raising money for Friends of SVS (FoSV)
This week, the maths department welcomed representatives from BAE Systems and the Armed Forces, who delivered an inspiring STEM workshop to our Year 7 and Year 8 students.
A group of Year 7 and 8 students joined Mr Cutcliffe and Mr Waggon for a thrilling trip to the Bacon Theatre in Cheltenham to attend this year's Gloucestershire Schools' Annual Christmas Science Lectures.
Friday saw our Annual Gift Drive in support of the Salvation Army appeal.
The SVSOC build began in April 2025, and was signed completed in July of the same year.

Our Year 11 Food Preparation and Nutrition pupils recently enjoyed a fantastic opportunity to visit The View Restaurant at Gloucester College.
