Strike a Light Youth Theatre Workshop

On Wednesday we welcomed Fifi and Alice from the Strike a Light Youth Theatre who ran a fantastic Drama workshop with a group of KS3 students.
The students explored key drama concepts including awareness of physical space, emotional characterisation, physical narrative, and group devised theatre all through a highly engaging, energetic, and enjoyable session. The students didn't stop and their final performances were immensely engaging, and it was a real pleasure to see the students creatively collaborating across the year groups.
Strike a Light Youth Theatre is actively looking for new members and they meet every Wednesday at City Works, GL1 4DF. They offer a brilliant opportunity for young people to explore theatre and express themselves creatively through participating in high quality performances and collaborations with professionals.
If your child is interested in drama, this is a must! Further details can be found via the link: https://strikealight.org.uk/2024/09/03/youth-theatre/
