It was fantastic to welcome over 300 guests to the event and celebrate the achievements of more than 120 students, who received awards including Half Colours, Full Colours, Sporting Achievement Awards and several major individual honours.

The evening is always a highlight of the sporting calendar and provides a wonderful opportunity to recognise the dedication, commitment and enthusiasm shown by our students throughout the year. It is also a chance to acknowledge the incredible support provided by parents and families, whose encouragement helps make these achievements possible.

As Subject Leader for PE, it is a privilege to stand on stage with Miss Lowry and celebrate the success of our students. The evening also allows me to thank our outstanding PE team, who work tirelessly throughout the year to provide a wide range of opportunities for students. From extra-curricular clubs and competitive fixtures to trips, tours and memorable sporting experiences, their commitment helps students develop skills, friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

A special thank you must go to Miss Pemberton, who worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to bring the entire evening together.

This year, we were also proud to introduce a new Sport Ambassador Badge. Awarded to students nominated within their respective sports across all four year groups, these ambassadors act as role models and champions for their sport within the school community. If you spot one of the new green Sport Ambassador badges, please take a moment to congratulate the student wearing it on this fantastic achievement.

Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. It is greatly appreciated and plays a huge part in the success of sport at Severn Vale.
