Contract: Permanent
Scale: NJC Point 8 – 20: £26824 - £32597 full-time; £21775 - £26462 pro rata (0.8118), pay award pending
Hours / Weeks: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 4:30 (negotiable), 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset)
Starting salary is dependent on experience.
Severn Vale School is an Academy which provides an inclusive secondary education for students aged 11-16, that delivers strong student outcomes through high quality teaching and outstanding pastoral care. We require a qualified Learning Partner to work within the SEND team supporting our young people to overcome barriers to learning and to deliver provision that enhances and supports mainstream provision. The role involves working alongside our Assistant SENDCo within the school’s Supported Learning Space, providing small group, 1:1 support and behaviour mentoring to identified students.
We require someone with a relevant qualification and experience of working in a school environment. You will have excellent written and communication skills and the ability to plan and deliver a variety of interventions. You will be a resilient team player with a can-do attitude, flexible, organised and able to use your own initiative.
