Contract:  Permanent

Scale: NJC Point 8 – 20: £26824 - £32597 full-time; £20096 - £24422 pro rata (0.7492), pay award pending

Hours / Weeks:  32.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 3:30, 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset)

Starting salary is dependent on experience.

We require a Reading Enrichment Lead to join our Literacy Team.  The role involves promoting the joys of reading to build a community of pupils who value the power of books.   This key role will focus on maintaining the smooth running of our library, whilst leading on reading initiatives and coordinating literacy events. In addition, you will deliver small group literacy interventions.

We want someone with very high expectations who loves working with young people and is ambitious to see them achieve. You will be a resilient team player with a can-do attitude, flexible, organised and able to use your own initiative.  You will have a good educational background and a relevant qualification in supporting students. Experience of working within an educational setting is essential.
