Salary:   NJC Point 22 - 30:  £32654 - £39513 Full Time Equivalent; £29457 - £35644 Pro rata (.9021)

  • 41 weeks per year (term time, inset and two weeks during school holidays)
  • 37 hours per week, with a start time by 7:45am
  • Permanent contract

Severn Vale School is an Academy which provides an inclusive secondary education for students aged 11-16.  We are a thriving school with a strong reputation in the local community. Of our new 2025 intake, over 98% live within 1.5 miles of the school, making us a very ‘local’ school.  We have recently expanded in size and now have over 1350 students. All year groups are oversubscribed.

We are seeking to recruit an Attendance Improvement Manager.  Attendance is at the heart of the school’s improvement priorities.  Through the operational leadership of the school’s Attendance Team, you will be responsible for promoting excellent levels of attendance, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.

Working alongside the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will lead the school’s attendance improvement strategy and manage the Attendance Team, developing a culture where high levels of attendance are valued and encouraged.
